If you turn on alerts, the app sends you breaking-news notifications for the sources and categories you choose. You can turn them off at any time in the app or in your device settings.
Like any web service, our servers process standard request data (IP address, user agent) transiently to deliver content and protect the service. We do not build profiles from it.
Headlines link to their original publishers, and videos play via YouTube's embedded player. When you open a source link or play a video, the third party (e.g., YouTube, X, the publisher's site) receives your request under its own privacy policy.
The service is general-audience news and is not directed at children under 13.
